I hadn't heard Carrie before - I know I would remember that voice if I'd heard it. :-)

The better to hear your singing, I needed to know the tune, so I Googled. The first site was Betty's Diner - oh, yeah! Good sounds. Good lyrics.

After a couple of searches I found a sample of the song you quote, The Bird or the Wing - now I can hear you. :-D

You know, if this keeps up I am going to go broke trying to buy more music and books - what am I saying? *thwacks self in forehead* That's my normal state of being anyway. :-p

You know mt musical taste is folk of center. (Carrie played for us once, and Stephen Fearing opened) All her music is great, but I love Bird or the Wing and my Father's Only Son best still. Jumpin' around music.
