It was our votes that put them where they are to do what they do, although with unverifiable voting machines and untraceable corporate donations being authorized since the last election, one can argue that 'voting' no longer exists.

On the one hand, I do agree with you about the "we."

On the other, it's no secret that money, not people vote in this country. And it has more votes than the people. I was surprised, in fact by the last election. I honestly did not believe there was even a chance for an un-rigged election.
