I am watching Launch My Line (because Chris and I decided to watch it as our show to make fun of together this season...) and I just heard someone say: "The bikini is going to be one piece."

Hmmmm.. what does the suffix "bi" mean to you?

I could swear that happened on an episode of one of the non-American Project Runways. (I want to say season two of Project Catwalk, Monica designing it, but don't quote me on that.) A bikini isn't called that because it comes in two pieces. The bikini swimsuit was so called for the Bikini Atoll. Interpreting the 'bi' to mean two is an interpretation after the fact (which has also lead to the back-formation of the word "monokini").

We forced ourselves to watch the first episode, but it was so bad as to be SAD. It was so bad there was nothing to make fun of...well maybe the two hosts squared.
