I did 33 for a "favorite books" challenge. I owned that edition at one time, but my ex got custody of them. I thought it made a more interesting image since it isn't everywhere.

Ha! Thanks for the picture - I hadn't seen it before. I can't help thinking Faramir wouldn't be a white cat kind of guy, growing up with stories of Queen Beruthiel and all. One more like Murphy, perhaps, or a nice stripey one in Numenorian grey. I approve heartily of the bell bottoms.

Yikes, I could never make her just a pretty face, if only because it would demean him! But more than that, I think you know from my stories that one of my biggest fascinations with Arda is how races with such diversity of lifespan manage to not only interact but to do it with love.


The Legolas art icons were made for this challenge. (originals pics are all there - except for #11 which was a screencap I photoshopped to death for a black and white challenge) I know the dark haired Legolas shooting at the sky is by Mike Kaluta from one of the calendars, and I think the other is from the musical.
