Nothing, We can't get Philly or NY, We don't even have sound.

No, afarid not. Satellite is the only option, and our apartments won't allow the dish, so.. and I need them for our high speed internet connection too. We are out at the end of the range, so our service is *always* bad. And their commercials, which say this about the competition - they enrage me.

Dammit, I wasn't home to watch House on Tuesday, so was unaware that it was a two-parter that concluded on Wednesday! I've got part one on tape, but I'm not sure if anyone I know tapes the show. Shit. Another example of how Fox makes things difficult for the viewer...

(We didn't lose our channels, though we too have Comcast, and were able to watch Lost and Invasion at 9 and 10 PM, but missing House just bites.)

Once we got off the phone with them, Jim was able to bypass the cable box, so I could watch, and then put the box back in the mix so I could watch my late night BBC America. Today I have no channels at all through the cable box. We'll see what happens when the Comcast guy gets here - I hate to call them, because usually they manage to knock out my internet connection while working on the tv, and then take as long as two weeks to get me an appointment to fix it. If he knocks it out today, I swear he's not leaving till he fixes it - I have handy swords in the living room...
