Ah, spring! Ah, itty-bitty peeping fluffy critters! Their stubby wings just crack me up.

the outside faucet for our building is under my bedroom window, and it leaks, forming a small puddle, so I am peep central.

It's nice, because we still get birds coming to the house (they made such a fuss over the feeder attracting wildlife and made me take it down, but they never fix the leak. typical)

I will be less pleased when the moms begin "Peep Wars!" out there at 5 am.

A lady at work just bough three chicks the other day, and she bought them at lunch so she had them at work so I got to hold them! And they looked remarkably like these. I can't remember what she called them... something that sounded like Rowan or Ruen or uh, something.

(And I giggled at their stubby wings, too!)

I love when they rear back and "flap" those bitty wings, like a big ferocious peep.... Arrrrgh!

Those ones aren't made out of mold-forged marshmallo, and therefore don't give me the everlovin' creeps.

but without marshmallow peeps, how could we have microwave peep jousting?
