for those of you who didn't see the answers to the Friday Five Jim left in my comments, I point out this answer:
5) If someone was going to make a movie or TV show about your life, who would play you?
Ron Jeremy
!!!111111!!
(I can't even make the standard remark about cleaning the screen with a tissue for that one!)

Date: 2006-04-09 05:42 pm (UTC)House is based on Sherlock Holmes. His address is the same.
His poor bedside manner closely resembles Holmes' supercilious Investigative manner. He's addicted to drugs. His only friend is a doctor of long acquaintance.
He's got "the woman" (in this case Stacy) who makes his life more... interesting.
And now that his Dr. friend is getting divorced he has a House mate. Just like Dr. Watson.
I look forward to bullet holes spelling "VR" over his mantle, and the appearance of Moriarity. :)
Some might find using the Holmes template a cheat, but I feel that since Conan Doyle stole Holmes wholly from Poe's brainy C. Auguste Dupin, I feel it's perfectly cricket. Indeed it's like stealing him back to his country of origin. :)
Does that clarify?

Date: 2006-04-13 07:49 pm (UTC)It seems you just got me infected with yet another TV series. I don't think they really broadcast it here (=Germany)... but what was p2p invented for ;)?
THANKS!
