any day that is bracketed by a 7am Comcast housecall and a Doctor's appointment (Jim, not me - his regular meds chack) is too damn long.....

click for an overwhelmingly large post of lovely boys on icons and blanks

Aieee! Amazing crops. I never really got the Viggo appeal until now. Aragorn, yes; Viggo, no. But whoa: eyeliner.

I don't think I really appreciated his face until I had to crop it into little squares and realized how much he gave me to work with. What gets to me with Viggo is the look in his eyes. I was terriffied of waht a movie would do to Aragorn, and still can't believe how fortunate I feel about this cast in general.

Dude! Duuuude!

The Sean Bean one of him in 'Equilibrium' pearing over the book of Yeats is killer! I love that one.

Another impressive array of icons. That publicity shot of Karl that includes his hand is one of may favourite pics of him. NICE icon. :)

::sighs:: "pears" have nothing to do with anything. I mean "peering". Why does my typing suck so?

Pears are always acceptable.

Thanks - I had a hard time deciding on that crop ... how much Bean, how much book....I decided we had to see the book.

The photo of Viggo with the makeup and the cheekbones always just makes me...

Some very nice Sean ones, too, and in one of HorseBoy (Sunday Morning Yellow Sky) he looks about 12!

Mmmm, Sawyer.

Thanks. I think Karl is about 20 in that series (I've already forgotten which one. Bad brain.) the yellow was a required element.

Josh Holloway has that lovely cowboy thing going on for me.

Karl just looks so young there.

I don't normally go for southern boys, but there's something about Sawyer - the bad boy with a southern drawl

All the pictures I;ve seen of very young Karl make me think of anime - he really has the features for it.

I think it might be the huge eyes and slightly pointed nose - I'd never really thought about it before, but he does have rather anime features.

Viggo... nice! (looking very Masterpiece Theater-ish)
Karl... yummy! (ohhh, those eyes...)
Sean... striking (but why does he remind me of David Bowie in that shot?)
Sawyer... WOW! ('cuz I don't know his real name, but dayam! He's my next favorite after Charlie... ;-))

and then I have Orli for my icon. ;-)

I have one of the big slightly younger Bean pictures where he's leaning in a doorway in my desktop rotation (I have my desk set to randomly change pictures every 15 minutes) and everytime it comes up, Jim is startled to find Bowie on my desktop - till he remembers it's Bean. So, definitely a little genetic something there

I adore the Viggo with-makeup one! And I think I know someone who might enjoy the "Come get warm"-Beanie one...

Thank you for sharing!

Thanks! I love the two glam-rock shots of Viggo, and I have iconed this one several times before, but this time I am really happy with the result.

Oh my word. What a pretty field to wander barefoot through this morning! And I believe I will be picking a daisy! That Cyrano breadstick-nose has me giggling uncontrollably, it's going in my personal journal. A few of the players in my roleplay game may like these as well, I'm going to clue them in, too.

You just get better and better every time you create a new icon. Thank you!

Thanks for the kind words. The breadstick icon just seemed like it was screaming to be made.

Thanks so much. By the time I post the icons at the end of the month, the sheer volume of them is a little overwhelming, so I am trying to break them up a little this time. And welcome.

I love your style, girl. Every icon you make always looks like it was pulled from a storybook.

...Viggo-in-eyeliner and David Thewlis might have to come with me. :-)

*blush*

The Thewlis icons were for a new icon challenge dedicated to him that never actually got off the ground (and I was so hoping to pick up some good obscure pics of him!)

Really liked the second Viggo one, and the one of a young looking Viggo with a yellowish background that says cowboy on it, even if I'm not sure whether I prefer that one or the same picture but with no writing on.

Unless I make an icon for myself, I'm seldom happy with the text - I like them textless, but they seem to need text to get any play in the challenges. I do same all the psd files though, so I can make most of the icons available without text; or change them if a good quote comes up.

I wish I had time to post them here textless and have you all give me ideas for quotes, but the truth is, I tend to make all my entries at the very last possible minute, sometimes being saved only by timezones.

There's the colour problem with text as well. I've only got Paint so the colours I can use are a bit limited and finding colours for text that work with the background colours is always difficult.

Long days with a cable guy in the livingroom before breakfast, explaing to me why nothing is wrong (!!!!) suck very badly indeed. I forced this guy to give me a new cable box, so we;ll see if things improve.

Thanks, too - but I know that starting with yummy yummy boys does so much of the work for me....

Geeze, you got me in the heart this time. Oh, man, ow! The Viggos are gorgeous and then there's Sean! I'm sniffling, sorry, except when I contemplate "come get warm" and then I'm laughing because who can see that grin and not grin, too? (I'm expecting my copy of NT any day now.)

I often rail at the imbalance between available Viggo and Sean pics. I don't think Viggo pursues being photographed but he doesn't avoid it; it feels as though he ignores it, and the resulting photos. Sean must be much more private. I don't imagine for a moment that he is not sought after but we rarely see anything other than formal shoots and not many of those. Wah!

From: [identity profile] fileg.livejournal.com
hope you enjoy NT - we liked it quite a bit, bot Sean and the over the top adventure.

I never thought about the imbalance in picture quantity - I geuss because I tend to take my own caps, and right from the start I had nearly all the Bean and am just filling Viggo in now. But it's true - we seldom get new pics of Bean unless there's a premier afoot.

They both seem very private to me, but Bean does seem to guard his privacy, while Viggo seems to float above it.

My, my.........

And again.... my, my, my....

You flaunt their beauty at me, not mine to touch - oh you tormentor you! ;D I do so hope LJ gets its act together soon so we can pay for a 100 icons - 50 is simply not enough!! Too difficult to make a judicious selection quickly - I will deliberate and engoy studying the lovelinesses ^_~
