anticipation of film

I have been in love with this movie from the first time I saw footage. (It was at Trilogy Tuesday, BTW, and people *booed* because they didn't want trailers...) I don't care if it turns out to be good or bad as a film, (thoughof course good would be better) I just want more stills....

now if only some firefly footage/stills would leak out,,,,

Oh yes, I'm just giddy with impatience for it. Not too much longer now. And these icons are gorgeous! I like the Polly in the top row and the Franky one particularly. Ooh, and the Chronicle one. Soon, soon it will be here... *g*

My, but it does look fine.
I hadn't seen the mercury sculpture before- beautiful.
The whole movie should look like those great old Fleischer Superman cartoons, and there's nothing wrong with that!

And- We're working on the house swap even now. Keep us in your thoughts..

My sis saw this at an advance screening a couple weeks ago. She said no matter what faults you see in the movie, you simply will be blown away by it. I've been convulsing with happiness ever since I saw the giant robots. They look almost idential to the giant robots in my favorite Fleischer Brothers Superman cartoon.

I cannot wait.

Is this "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow"? I have no idea what it's about, just saw the title and a promo shot on the cover of a magazine, and already I like it. Said to agentrosecotton that it reminded me of Tom Paris's "Captain Proton" thing, sort of. Is it?
