There is a gorgeous (and massive - the High Def version weighs in at 130mb) trailer for The 300 at the apple quicktime trailer site.

I was overcome with the need to make some caps for desktops, so I thought I'd share a couple: (click for BIG)

More screen captures from Episode Thirteen. Hundreds, actually.

I posted the first 130 pics of SeaChange

scroll down to the SeaChange link, and happy drooling. As always, if you need something bigger or sharper, just ask. I don't always have bigger versions squirreled away, but often (as with these) I don't want to sharpen and color correct *everything...*

Some of you are probably saying -- I remember when fileg wrote....
or, maybe that was me...

Anyway, I expect to continue to be useless for the remainder of the weekend, but when Jim goes back to work, after I am done roaming around the house howling because i can't find him, I will be reading, responding and hopefully writing again.

In the meantime, these series of captures from Russian Doll is in answer to a photo at beyond_lotr
I can't believe I have never seen these floating around, or that slash stories have not ensued. Perhaps it is simply a traditional australian male greeting of which I was unaware??

Anyway, here there are. I love the looks on their faces, but what cracks me up the most is the tag on Hugo's towel )

Having a less stressed day -- a day that doesn't start out with the folder where you store everything missing from your desk top is bound to be better ---

Jim and I went out and ate bad things for dinner. Almost every time we eat at Crackerbarrel, we end up talking first-age while we wait to be seated, and I almost always come home with a story idea. This time I actually needed a first age idea, and one that ought to be second nature to Jim -- and nada. So, I consoled myself with cornbread and blackberry preserves - take that, Dr. Atkins. sometimes comfort food is necessary comfort.

Then we rolled home in a carb stupor, curled up on the couch and watched Cosi and Grave of the Fireflies. Well, I won't be writing after that, I am under the couch. (or would be, except I won't fit tonight)

Talked to Lee and Annaliese last night and got to hear their first impressions on ROTK. I am missing them both tremendously this year, but I am starting to perk up as we approach the part of the holidays where we celebrate.

Lee has made me two fab-oo desktops, and tonight they came up at the same time, which cracked me up. (yeah, I run a 21" monitor and the screen from my power book - did I mention I *LOVE* my macs?)

click and share...

Loki is a self explanatory as it gets. The other, which says in its word balloon "Wheee! I'm an animator!" commemorates our reaction to the work in the fine piece of crap cinema that is the Bakshi version of LoTR. (Our other family saying from this *cough* film *cough* is "Boromir — are you ok?" I am still hoping for that desktop to materialize.)

Hoping to post a card tonight as well. In the meantime -- here's some Dave ---

This is one of my favorite shots of David in Better than Sex. If you have not seen it, you probably don't know that the reason why is that it goes with this shot.

I am really tired of the press deciding who we want to see...
I would not even have know Craig was at the Berlin Premier if Shiveringjemmy had not gone. Go see her report - I am not a Craig-girl, but this is one of the nicest pictures of him I have ever seen. And *2* candid shots of David!

Speaking of David (*snicker*) )

Jim upgraded me from OS-X to Panther tonight. It has already solved a lot of the problems I have been having on my desktop. After he went to bed, I happily settled down to pull screen captures from SeaChange - and none of my capture software will work. Three ways - three tries - three folders full of blanks. Oh well, I enjoyed watching episode one over and over. And I'm sure Jim will know how to fix it, since I seem to recall we had a similar problem when I went to OS-X.

Till I get it straightened out, here are a few leftovers from last night...

I wasn't headed into this film yet, but I posted some pics of David to the Rightclick!Lick theme of the week which was - the beautifully dressed man. So I thought I would honor the requests, led by angelwolf24, for the beautifully undressed man. Yes, I know what you really want - we'll get there.... I think I like mixing them up.

some of these are just plain silly....

I wanted a particular shot of David's hand for the found tarot. I thought you guys might be getting tired of cowboy pictures.

It's snowing, my schedule is out-of-kilter and I was useless for anything real today. But, I cleaned up a very few pics from the massive hoard I took from Dust last night. So:

The rightclick!lick! theme of the week was Men and Horses, so I pulled these two caps out of Dust. He is not a happy boy in this movie, but it was the only place I could think of where I could fulfill the equine requirement... He is still *sigh*....

Since I was pulling caps (ok, I did *alot* but I only cleaned a few) I also pulled about a dozen shots from this sequence, which I have been meaning to do for awhile:
