I'm one of those people who hates winter and pines for 75-80 degree days. That, to me, is a decent temperature. I'd prefer 65-70 degree days, but I know those are few and far between so I don't even hope.

We had two days last week that hit 90, and one that hit 80 in the morning. I'm not complaining, but I think it's a bit much, a bit soon! This shouldn't happen until June, late May at the earliest. I miss those transition days from winter to summer, too. Where they go?

Weather people are annoying and worthing of medieval-style beatings almost any given day of the week. Anyone who can get that excited about low-pressure systems and how a hurricane in Florida might affect the weather in Oregon needs some sort of pain-related reprogramming. If they'd just come on and say, "It's going to be hot," and go into a little detail, but no, they have to get all cheeky about it. I read my weather online, a little widget on my browser's default home page, and I still want to hurt someone when they get creative. Snow, freezing rain, sleet and windy are good enough descriptors, for god's sake! Blustery, ice pellets and wintry mix sound like something Pooh would tell Eeyore and Piglet not to be down about.

Today look to be great, just reaching 70. I hope it's closer to that where you are, too!
