I'll admit when I first saw that serious writing meme while wandering the wilds of lj I thought 'Hope no-one on my flist does that - I couldn't answer it'. I don't think about writing in terms of themes. I could, with a bit of work, I guess, identify favourite story etc. I don't hink I'd ever publicly (and I'd be damned wary of doing it privately) tell anyone their weaknesses: I've had that explode in my face too often.
