oh amazon, how I love you
Sep. 5th, 2007 05:36 pmI have a long story about the people who run things at my apartment, but I am too furious to talk about that now, so instead I'm sharing this link I found while trying to stay awake ...
Balla Powder: Scented Scrotum Talc for Men - 3.5oz
what I love about that copy is the phrase "for men"
Product Description:
Balla Powder for Men is the ideal anti-chafing and anti-wetness solution for clammy sacks. Guaranteed to prevent the dreaded "bat wing" syndrome, Balla Powder for Men is lightly scented with a masculine fragrance, for anyone else who plans to work in your close quarters. Can be sprinkled into your fudgies for all-day-long comfort and dryness. A fabulous post-workout treatment, Balla Powder for Men can also be used between your cheeks, as well as on fetid feet and aromatic armpits.
edit: I'm glad I copied the product description, because they seem to have changed the page now, but there is still a link to the product here: and the original copy is still up here.
Jim immediately had to go out and look up "bat wing syndrome", which was apparently the most frequently asked question about the ad copy on dave barry's unofficial blog.
I was relieved to find out it didn't have anything to do with them flying at you and getting tangled in your hair.
