liddle_oldman has been riled about punctuation in the produce aisle, I feel inspired to post about the current piece of idiocy in a commercial that's been annoying me.
It's a swifer ad, showing a woman testifying in court that she could see the evidence (of the lousy job her broom is doing). The lawyer then asks, "Can you point to the defendant?"
Well *of course* she can. So can I- it will be the person sitting at the defendant's bench. What does that prove, you moron?
How about we ask her to point to the offender, the perpetrator, even the culprit? Good grief.
