Little Brown Bird
Aug. 4th, 2004 06:30 amJim and I went to see Thunderbirds for cheap-date night, since he was afraid it would be gone by next week, and he grew up immersed in that super marionation milleu. It was lots of silly fun, the ships rocked my sox , as ships usually do, (though Jim still has an original corgi Thunderbird 2 (with 4 in the belly) and it is blue. There were five people in the theater, parking was a breeze, they offered us cheap treats (but I said no, I had a smuggled keto bar in my pocket) and then we stopped for dinner. yay!
I am two days behind out here again, though, since I am not quite caught up from Saturday Anime (I bought jim Last Exile for his birthday, and we got to turn new people on to it. I *love, love, love* Klaus. No surprise, really, he could easily be young Faramir...)

edrys and sons +friend, on their way home from the anime convention in Baltimore. She is such a doll, and has raised two lovely, intelligent and well spoken young men. I think they were surprised to find out they were the most grown up of the bunch, but they were soon showing off swords and acquisitions back and forth with Jim and I. Dinner and much squee, and some writer-gossiping, during which avon7 was invoked several times (on the side of the angels, I hasten to add)

Woe:
I completely screwed up my writing journal while changing it over to a community
I was encouraged by a few friends who run their graphics journals that way, as easier to get at -- but it was a mistake for stories, because I cannot filter for friends unless you join.
I will skip all the would have/should haves and just say it is important to me that the writing journal have that name. So please forgive me, and since there were only a few of you, I am begging you to go join so I can put you back on the filter for stories that are not going out to the general public.
