Roll On, Anduin

I received a beautiful gift from Flick (undonne) for solstice - a pantoum in Faramir's voice, written inside the cycle of my Anduin stories.

I don't need to tell anyone who writes how unbelievable it is to receive words as a gift. And I have been blessed to have been part of several Anduin moments, where the current flowed around the world, and we knew we were connected.

I don't know if I can adequately explain what happens in the heart when you know that someone you admire as a friend and as a writer has found your own work worth spending time inside.

And if the strict form pantoum wasn't enough of a challenge, Flick chose a spot where I walk a dangerous line between my public and my private work, and chose to walk it with me, without a net.

The bravery of my friends astounds me.
