What's on your bedside table?
My bed has a huge lightbridge, with rolltop trays on each side. the headboard and the trays are full of books. I have a protein bar, in case I can't sleep (must remember to change the one that's there) alarm clock phone, eyedrops, glasses case, badger balm, cup of writing implements. The bottom shelf on my side of the tower has the reference I would have to wander the house for if I didn't have it right there when I read in bed - Jobes Dictionary of Mythology Folklore and Symbol being the most used. Several historical maps from old Natty Geo's that cover the historical periods I like to read, pictorial guide to sumo terms, name dictionary, Morgoth's Ring - that sort of thing.
What is the geekiest part of your music collection?
I am all geek, and that depends on which ones you would find geeky. Yes, I have the Abba Box set, the BeeGee's from when they were folk, lots of yodeling cowboys - you name it and we probably have it. Jim collects Christmas music, so we even have things like Tiny Tim and Ru Paul...
